I recently upgraded to ie 7.0.5730.11 and each time I reach a site that has
flash animation it askes me to "click here to install the following ActiveX
control: 'Adobe Flash Player' from Adobe systems incorporated" I have
downloaded and reinstalled and reinstalled several times, but I am still
getting the same problems, however I don't get any of this with firefox, I
installed one time and all adobe flash animations show up in firefox just
fine, is there a known issue and a resolution with xp sp2?

The known issue is that you need to look at the Active X configuration items
in IE7 advanced settings. The default settings are probably set to ask you
before downloading Active X plug ins. a much safer way than the way you have
Firefox set up.
