Hi all,

I've just installed XP Pro on a friend's PC. The names of the desktop icons
are on a blue background.
(The default background color). On my PC running XP Home, the icons are
transparent.
How do I change this?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

System Properties (Windows + Pause/Break keys), Advanced tab, "Performance"
Settings button to go to the next menu. Visual Effects tab, check the "Use
drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" box.
